Post-convention seminar: Design of Buildings with Post-Tensioning
Wednesday, May 8, 2013: 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
The seminar will provide attendees with an understanding of post-tensioning systems, post-tensioning design, and current construction concepts. Presentations will focus on design, analysis, and construction fundamentals of post-tensioned buildings and will include training on the design and analysis of new post-tensioned building structures. Durability aspects of present PT systems, key concepts, code requirements, practical design, and construction tips will also be discussed.

Post-convention seminar: Design of Post-Tensioned Slab-on-Ground with the New PTI Standard DC10.5-12
Wednesday, May 8, 2013: 1:30 p.m. 5:00 p.m.
This in-depth seminar is intended for geotechnical and structural engineers and others involved in the design of post-tensioned slabs-on-ground on expansive soils. The seminar will highlight the new features and changes included in the new PTI Standard DC10.5-12: Design & Analysis of Shallow PT Concrete Foundations on Expansive Soils. 2013 PTI Awards Dinner
PTI will recognize projects that have been constructed or rehabilitated in the last 7 years that use post-tensioning as a structural component. Project categories include Buildings; Bridges, Parking Structures; Slab-on-Ground; Industrial/Special Applications; and Repair, Rehabilitation, and Strengthening. The event will take place Monday, May 6, at the 2013 PTI Convention.
Pre-registration is now closed. Registration will be open on-site in the Salon Foyer during the following hours: - Sunday, May 5: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ; Reopens: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
